Is Socialism really “good in theory but bad in practice” ? Is capitalism a bad system ? First let’s define the terms.

“Capitalism is a social system based on the recognition of individual rights, including property rights, in which all property is privately owned”.

Socialism is the economical consequence, and a subset, of statism. Statism is “any system that concentrates power in the state at the expense of individual freedom”. There is a problem area in terms of rights. This problem area is composed of the first stages of maturation of the indivudual, namely the foetal stage and the childhood stage. Two main issues are related to them – abortion and children rights. Pro-life is anti-freedom

Abortion is one of the big controversial issues in politics today – the main reason seems to be because of the Religious Right. According to the christian position, women should not have control of their bodies enough to be able to remove a foetus from it.
