Life Of Hell

My life of Hell at the hands of the capitalists

It all started in 1930, that was the year I was born
into the EVIL capitalist world which was to be my
nemesis. I am going to recount my life of HORROR at
the hands of these monsters. It will CHILL you to your
bones!

As a child I rarely saw my father. “Where is he?” I
would ask mother as she went around the house.
“working” came the reply. I wondered at this. I asked
my grandfather what work was, he said “well, your
daddy makes things at a …

Gave Up

“I Gave Up a Little Liberty”

I gave up a little liberty for security because I wasn’t as prudent as my ancestors. I couldn’t be trusted to plan for my retirement, so I let them withhold money from my paycheck for social security.

When I found out there wasn’t a trust fund and that I could guarantee myself a better retirement if I could just keep my own money, I felt less secure.

I wanted my liberty back.

I gave up a little liberty for security because I wasn’t as strong as my ancestors. I would probably just become a …

Capitalism

Capitalism versus socialism

Is Socialism really “good in theory but bad in practice” ? Is capitalism a bad system ? First let’s define the terms.

“Capitalism is a social system based on the recognition of individual rights, including property rights, in which all property is privately owned”.

Socialism is the economical consequence, and a subset, of statism. Statism is “any system that concentrates power in the state at the expense of individual freedom”. Socialism is a form of statism which advocates collective or governmental ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods.

No Rights

The bill of no-rights

We, the sensible of the United States, in an attempt to help everyone get along, restore some semblance of justice, avoid any more riots, keep our nation safe, promote positive behavior and secure the blessings of debt-free liberty to ourselves and our great-great-great grandchildren, hereby try one more time to ordain and establish some common sense guidelines for the terminally whiny, guilt-ridden delusional, and other liberal, commie, pinko bedwetters.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that a whole lot of people were confused by the Bill of Rights and are so dim that they require …

Abort

The “abortion problem” and children

There is a problem area in terms of rights. This problem area is composed of the first stages of maturation of the indivudual, namely the foetal stage and the childhood stage. Two main issues are related to them – abortion and children rights. But since abortion is simply an inquiry on the rights of a foetus, we can therefore reduce the problem to one field of inquiry, that is, rights.

What rights should children have ? It is a fact that they belong to the category of human beings. However that is not the point. …

Pro-Life

Pro-life is anti-freedom

Abortion is one of the big controversial issues in politics today – the main reason seems to be because of the Religious Right. According to the christian position, women should not have control of their bodies enough to be able to remove a foetus from it.

And yet this is an absurd position, on the face of it. No one complains when people have organs removed (although their trade is still illegal, once again because of religious precepts). Foetuses in themselves are merely bags of cells. We don’t call to murder against hunters or plastic surgery, therefore …

Q: WHAT IS P.C.?

PC stands for Politically Correct. We of the Politically Correct philosophy believe in increasing a tolerance for a DIVERSITY of cultures, races, genders, ideology and alternate lifestyles. Political Correctness is the only social and morally acceptable outlook. Anyone who disagrees with this philosophy is bigoted, biased, sexist, and/or closed-minded.

Q: WHY SHOULD I BE PC?

Being PC is fun. PCism is not just an attitude, it is a way of life! PC offers the satisfaction of knowing that you are undoing the social evils of centuries of oppression.

Pledge

The Objectivist pledge of allegiance

I robotically mouth the words to a loyalty oath I was forced to memorize during government-sponsored childhood indoctrination out of fear of being ostracized to a multi-colored cloth representing a conglomeration of territories acquired through warfare and genocide and to the corporate plutocracy for which it stands,
one arbitrarily bordered land mass occupied by racially diverse people ruled by an entrenched white elite under a mythical being with supernatural powers believed in by humans in order to ease the fear that they are insignificant specks hurdling toward eternal oblivion in a cold, uncaring universe,
indivisible,…
